Vaudine England schreef voor de weekendeditie van het Hongkongse dagblad The Standard een aardig overzicht van het Amsterdamse Chinatown.
Ze heeft wenig gemist: zelfs het Inspraak Orgaan Chinezen en de groeiende toeristenstroom uit China komt aan de orde.

In 2004, there were 55,000 visitors from China who stayed overnight in Amsterdam. The new travellers like to go to Amsterdam's diamond factories, such as Gassan Diamonds and Coster Diamonds, shopping districts and for quick tours north of the city to see tulips and windmills.
